VIOLETTA GIADA CANNAS is Assistant Professor in Mechanical Industrial Plants at the School of Industrial Engineering of LIUC – Carlo Cattaneo University. Her main areas of expertise are Operations Management, with a particular focus on Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
At LIUC – Carlo Cattaneo University, she teaches courses such as operations management, quality design and management, smart factory and data analytics for operational excellence.
At the LIUC Business School, she teaches courses in i-FAB dedicated to Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. She has also participated in numerous training, research, and consulting initiatives with various important companies in the national landscape.
She also works as an adjunct professor at the Department of Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, teaching operations management. At the same university, she obtained a PhD in Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering and a European PhD in 2019, developing specific expertise in Operations Management in Engineer-to-Order contexts (particularly in the machinery sector). She completed her studies abroad at Cardiff Business School.
