NICOLÓ SAPORITI è Ricercatore in Tenure Track di Impianti Industriali Meccanici presso la scuola di Ingegneria Industriale della LIUC – Università Cattaneo. Le sue aree di competenza riguardano Operations and Lean Management, con particolare focalizzazione sui temi di Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0, Data Analytics e Digital Twin.
Presso la LIUC – Università Cattaneo svolge attività di docenza nel corso di “Gestione della Produzione”, “Quality: design and management”, “Operational Excellence Lab”, “Gestione della Produzione”, “Descriptive Analytics per l’Operational Excellence” e “Smart Factory” e partecipa alle attività di ricerca e sviluppo del laboratorio i-FAB.
He has been involved in projects integrating and developing data collection and processing systems for Operations management, as well as advanced simulation systems to support production or operator training in virtual reality.
Currently, he is conducting research on the adoption criteria of the Digital Twin in companies and evaluating the impact of this technology on production systems. He collaborates with renowned foreign universities where he has studied, such as the NTNU - Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Trondheim, Norway) and TUHH - Technische Universität Hamburg (Hamburg, Germany).
