Our story
Developed by LIUC professors and researchers from the School of Engineering in collaboration with leading technology manufacturing and supply companies, Italy's first Lean and Industry 4.0 model factory opened in September 2016, while the government was presenting the "National Industry 4.0 Plan".
Our mission
Our aim is to prepare the professional figures of the future and spread the 4.0 culture within the Italian industrial context, in order to contribute to the efficiency and innovation of manufacturing companies, through workshop training and experimental research activities.
Our people
The i-FAB team consists of a group of professors and researchers from the School of Industrial Engineering at LIUC - Cattaneo University and the Centre for Operations and Lean Management at LIUC Business School. They are all highly specialised and experienced in the fields of Lean and Industry 4.0.
